From Psychologist to Psychotherapist and Wellbeing Workshop Facilitator

I have always been a psychologist first and foremost. I studied Psychology at school, college, at undergraduate and again at postgraduate level. I explored Forensic, Clinical, and Occupational Psychology. Why you ask . . . well it seemed like a sensible thing to do at the time.

I was and still am fascinated by people, in particular what gets in the way of their happiness and wellbeing, and what supports it. I developed this interest working in mental health services around the UK both in the public and private sector and training in a range of therapeutic approaches and models along the way.

After leaving the NHS, I established InMind:Insight to translate my clinical and academic knowledge into practical strategies, to support wellbeing at an individual and organisational level.

Over the last 7 years, I have delivered training and workshops to over 50,000 participants at organisations around the world. To clients including Amazon, The Home Office, The British Army, GSK and Disney. I have spoken at international conferences, the EU Commission, corporate wellbeing events and even wrote a book on Workplace Culture.

I have also continued to do what I love, and develop my own practice as a Contemporary Psychotherapist, working directly with individuals in a range or settings to help them identify and overcome their own barriers to wellbeing.

InMind:Insight draws together all my skills and expertise, so that I can continue using my knowledge and experience to support people’s wellbeing.
